I did not set out to be an artist.  My college degree was in Audiology.  But sometime around 1994, I digressed.  What I know about art and about fiber as a medium I learned from taking classes and from working alongside other artists.

I live and work in Quincy, Illinois, where I am inspired by the town’s rich architectural history and the mighty Mississippi River.  I am also influenced by the work of artists Helen Frankenthaler and Edward Tufte.

I exhibit regionally and am a member artist of The Alliance Art Gallery in Hannibal, Missouri.  I have been very fortunate to have received numerous awards and honors for my work.
